Brocade Partner Program Update: Acquisition FAQ

The Q3 Brocade Partner Network (BPN) channel programs will end on July 29, 2017. Brocade has been working closely with the buyers of their IP Networking businesses (ARRIS, Extreme Networks and Pulse Secure) on transition plans from the BPN programs to their respective partner programs after the close of those transactions. Below you will find detailed information for each of the channel incentive programs Brocade currently offers as well as letters of intent from ARRIS, Extreme Networks and Pulse Secure.

BPN INCENTIVE PROGRAMS

Brocade Rewards 
Brocade will approve all eligible claims by August 15, 2017, and you have until August 30, 2017 to exchange your earned Brocade Rewards points for prizes. Points not redeemed by August 30 will expire.
  • July 29, 2017: Deadline for partners to submit a rewards claim.
  • August 15, 2017: Date all claims will be approved or rejected.
  • August 30, 2017: Last day for partners to redeem their points. Points not redeemed by this date will expire.
VIP Program 
Participating partners will receive their achievement letters approximately six weeks (dependent on POS processing) after Brocade’s quarter end on July 29, 2017, and will be paid via wire or check 1-2 weeks after the quarter end.

Contracts 
Partner agreements with Brocade will remain in effect through the close of Broadcom’s acquisition of Brocade and will then be assigned and replicated for ARRIS, Extreme Networks and Pulse Secure (i.e., depending on which business unit(s) you have done business with) upon the corresponding divestiture dates. Your relationships with each applicable buyer will continue until such time as the new buyer can evaluate the business and determine the go-forward plan. Any post-close partner program changes or renewals will be communicated by the new buyers.

Resource Center 
The Brocade Resource Center will be available for one month after the acquiring partners’ transactions are complete. All demand generation activities, email campaigns, event center webinars, and web site content should be completed by July 29, 2017We will continue to keep you updated as we move through the intended acquisitions.
